Pick the right measure
XP recognizes your whole configured progression system. Text, voice, and reaction views expose a particular contribution signal. Use the view that matches the behaviour you want to celebrate; a leaderboard with the wrong measure can tell members that the wrong thing matters.
Create more than one way to be seen
Long-running all-time leaders can be valuable history, but periodic recognition gives newer members a chance to participate. Combine rankings with role rewards, achievements, or event recognition so one top-ten list does not become the whole system.
