- Role-specific text XP uses the highest-position configured role the member holds.
- Text cooldown limits award opportunities; it does not change the value of an individual eligible award.
- Channel/category and scheduled multipliers can compound before member effects are applied.
Reproduce one unexpected award
Use a staff account with the same relevant roles, post in the specific channel, and record the result after cooldown conditions are satisfied. This is more useful than averaging unrelated members with different roles and activity patterns.
Check overrides before lowering the base
A role range can explain a surprising value even when the everyone range appears reasonable. Next, inspect the scheduled multiplier, channel or category multiplier, active vote effect, and collectible effects for that member.
Use cooldown to limit frequency
If individual awards are sensible but progress arrives too often, change the cooldown or scope. If awards are too small or too large, change the applicable range or multiplier and re-run the same controlled test.
