- Example: keep text XP in help, discussion, and accountability channels; exclude commands and utility spaces.
- Example: use a longer text cooldown when rapid chat volume is not the goal.
- Example: give early roles recognition value before adding access changes.
Make the expected contribution visible
Tell members which spaces recognize study participation and why. A thoughtful answer in a help channel or attendance in a real focus session is easier to defend than a blanket reward for every message.
Keep rewards useful and calm
Use roles as a sign of consistency, access to an appropriate study room, or event acknowledgement. Avoid a constant top-ten contest if it makes the community feel like a productivity scoreboard.
