In brief: The ideas below are starting points, not a checklist. Each pairs a name with a concrete measurement and a reason it fits. Pick the few that reinforce your community’s culture, then rewrite the language so it feels native to your members.

Turn individual cards into progression chains
A chain should change in difficulty or meaning, not simply multiply the same target. For example: First Step at level 5, On the Rise at level 15, Established at level 30, Veteran at level 50, and Legend at level 100. Give each a different description and visual hierarchy so the member can see the story advancing.
Pair a continuous chain with one-off moments: an event card, a helpfulness card, and a staff-recognized card. That mix lets different kinds of members be seen.

Before you publish an idea
Ask five questions: Does this reward a behavior we want more of? Can a member predict it? Is the trigger scoped fairly? Is the difficulty appropriate to its tier? Would the reward create an abuse incentive? If any answer is unclear, revise the design instead of adding another exception.
